Rochester, MN (KROC-AM Information) – An aged Rochester person described around the weekend that he was awakened early Sunday by a stranger in his bedroom.
Rochester police Captain Casey Moilanen claims the 85-12 months-previous person told officers a guy, described as about five foot 9 with blonde hair who appeared to be on medicines, entered his bedroom and turned on the mild all around 12:30 a.m. the house owner suggests he responded by purchasing the intruder to go away prior to he bought out of bed and there was a wrestle involving the two males that ended when the elderly person fell and injured his arm and the stranger fled from the property.
Captain Moilanen states the target explained to officers he then went back to mattress and waited till around 8 o’clock the exact same morning to report the incident to law enforcement. A bag of marijuana that was seemingly remaining in the rest room by the intruder was turned above to the officers, who also observed the man had sizeable bruising on his arms and his son indicated the bruising was not present the prior working day.
The incident happened in the 1900 block of 22nd Road Northwest. It is thought the intruder received entry through an unlocked entrance door.
